Heading West for another visit...

Royce and I will be driving out to Vail Thursday 2/23 to see our special baby grandchildren. We had a scare in the middle of the night Tuesday 2/21 night when Sophie stopped breathing. Dad Steve (fortunately a paramedic) was on diaper/feeding duty and knew just what to do to bring her back. The whole family is staying at the hospital now trying to figure out what caused it. Thanks in advance for your prayers for Sophie's diagnosis, treatment, healing and comfort and peace for the family. We will keep you updated as we learn more.

Tiny fingers, tiny toes, tiny smile, tiny nose. Posted by Picasa

Proud Grandma Linda has arrived home after a week getting to know two little wonderful grandbabies in Colorado. What a fun time! (although the word sleep deprivation seems to fit the 3-hour feeding schedule we were on -- the babies, not me.) I will save more of the stories for later to go with the 150 photos I took of the little ones. Suffice to say it was an incredibly wonderful visit. Stay tuned! Posted by Picasa

Sophie is a sweetie! And very easy to please! She was the smaller one at birth but is rapidly catching up with only a few more ounces to go to be even weight with Lauren. Happy-go-lucky Sophie is a noisy one, rarely quiet, even when sleeping. She makes squeeks and peeps and all sorts of wonderful sounds; most always happy noises. So much fun to listen to and talk to! Her big big eyes and snuggling cuddling will charm and warm the hearts of all who meet her. So easy to please. Posted by Picasa

Lauren is Miss Personality with a bit of a stong-will (smile). She definitely makes her wishes know, sometimes very loudly (Steve wears ear plugs when he has to change her!) But when she's dry and fed and rested, she's a charmer! Makes wonderful faces, smiles, very alert, looks all around taking her new world in. I'm guessing she'll have no trouble making her way in the world! Posted by Picasa

Cooper is very fond of the new babes and gets very concerned if they cry. He's getting worn out following everyone around to make sure the girls are being attended to correctly. Posted by Picasa
